There's a lot more to climbing in Zillertal than going up in a straight line. More important is the nature experience, exploring one's own limits and to demonstrate one's physical and mental strength. Close to our holiday residence you will find a wide array of opportunities to experience the many sides of climbing. Four climbing crags, one children's climbing crag, nine via ferrate, one bouldering hall, one climbing hall, one outdoor - climbing tower, three high rope courses besides countless alpine routes, multi-pitch tours and unique bouldering areas guarantee sheer climbing fun for all levels and will particularly appeal to all fans of climbing. The perfect granite blocks, embedded in lush pastures and towering by murmuring mountain streems, make the Zillertal and its side valleys the place to be for passionate fans of climbing.
While canyoning you will experience the stunning beauty of nature that has been created by the power of water throughout the centuries and you will become part of a greater whole. Dressed in neoprene, which will protect you from the cold, and equipped with helmet and rope, the best qualified guides will lead you through the Zemmschlucht (gorge), behind Mayrhofen, during two- to five-hour hiking tours.
Crystal clear water will touch your face when you rope or slide down unique rock formations – jumping down is also not for the faint-hearted. As a reward you can look forward to heavenly waterfalls and to swimming in and diving into turquoise-coloured puddles. You will be taken to a place, where time stood still and where you can experience life at its purest!
While rafting on the exciting river in the Zillertal you will experience an extraordinary adventure with friends and family. Having the best gear and being accompanied by the best, experienced guides you will go on board at the jetty in Mayrhofen and paddle as a team during six kilometres in the bubbling river. It will be a good mix of pleasant, relaxing and exciting section that will lead over thrilling rapids and waves. You will sense nature, unleashing its powers, up close and being one with the energy of the water. The Zillertal Rafting associations also offer more challenging tours to the Ötztaler Ache.
Tyrol boasts various fine locations to play golf, including one in Zillertal. The Udern golf course is just around the corner and brandnew. The new golf complex in the heart of Zilleral - 65 ha of the finest green. A golf course with the highest standards has been created in Uderns and it opened in April 2014. Since July 1st 2014 the golf course is also an 18 hole course, with a total length of 5.878 m. In addition to the challenging and ideally located golf course, a practice area offers golf players the opportunity to improve their golf swing on the roofed driving range or to practice their skills on the putting, pitching and chipping grean. The Uderns golf course can easily be reached from ALPINSCHLÖSSL. Driving north on the B168, it only takes 15 minutes by car to get to Uderns.
